A deep thought

Why I think I'm so tough, a short essay:

Last night I was peeling potatoes and I rolled that potatoe peeler right over my knuckle, taking out a large chunk of surface area formerly known as my finger. I finished peeling the potatoes. Got a bandaid. Bled through 3 bandaids. Finished dinner. Served dinner. Ate dinner. It was delicious.

That's how I roll.

I'm guessing child birth prepared you for that kind of pain???

I am glad you don't let a little limb dismemberment slow down your culinary creations! That would really hurt everyone.
And it is all about the greater good!

Well, Sweetie.....Ya got that from me. I've always thrown myself into my cooking.....Put a little piece of me in everything I cook. Yesterday, it was the knuckle on my right thumb, grating ginger for Ginger Lime tea. Sure was good tea.

Here's the deal though. You're supposed to grab a paper towel, wrap it firmly around the bleeding whatever, hold it above your your heart level, and finish the rest with the other hand. That's how a REAL WOMAN rolls......

I hit my shin getting into my truck......it really hurt.

Poor Jay! You should use a step-stool

Babe, in our family, we're lucky we're not a band of amputees, just a'skippin a'bobbin, and well.. sitting still. Kitchen wounds is something we specialize in.
But don't even think about not cookin. We will not be having any of that.

I am concerned that your injury has ruined your typing skills. It has been many days since a new post, and we are waiting!
love, Julz

I agree with Julz and JP.

Are you okay?
